• Hate Speech: Any content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
• Racism: Content that promotes racial superiority, discrimination, or prejudice
• Harassment: Bullying, stalking, or intimidating other users
• Explicit Content: Sexually explicit images, videos, or text
• Violence: Content that depicts, encourages, or glorifies violence
• Illegal Activities: Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities
• Spam: Unsolicited promotional material or repetitive content
• Misinformation: False or misleading information

Prohibited Behavior:

• Creating fake profiles or misrepresenting your identity
• Using the Service for commercial purposes without permission
• Soliciting money, goods, or services from other users
• Sharing personal contact information of other users
• Posting your own personal contact details (phone numbers, emails, social media handles, etc.) in profile fields, public posts, comments, or any other publicly visible areas of the Service
• Attempting to circumvent security measures
• Using automated systems or bots to interact with the Service
• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

Content Moderation: We use automated systems and human moderators to detect and remove inappropriate content. Content that violates these Terms will be removed, and repeat offenders may face account suspension or termination.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create and share on HeySyrian. However, by posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purposes of operating and improving our Service.

You are solely responsible for your content and must ensure it complies with these Terms and applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our policies.

5. Payment Terms

HeySyrian offers both free and premium features. Premium features require payment through our approved payment processors.

Payment Policy:

• Non-Refundable: All payments made to HeySyrian are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law
• Subscription Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Price Changes: We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed through third-party services like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Stripe
• Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes

Cancellation:

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or app store. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for unused portions of your subscription.

6. Privacy and Safety

Your privacy and safety are important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Safety Guidelines:

• Never share personal information (phone number, address, financial details) with other users
• Meet in public places for initial meetings
• Trust your instincts and report suspicious behavior

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to:

• Creating fake profiles

• Repeated violations of community guidelines

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

HeySyrian and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by ALM Tech Studio LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

HeySyrian is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

We are not responsible for the conduct of other users or the accuracy of their profiles. Users interact with each other at their own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any damages arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of HeySyrian will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where ALM Tech Studio LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date and may provide additional notice through the Service.
